With the introduction of this Autograph Edition 2002 Impreza WRX, Subaru of America, Inc. and Martina Navratilova join the fundraising efforts of tennis great Andre Agassi and doubles superstar, Jonathan Stark whose families have been waging a successful battle against breast cancer. Both Agassi's mother and sister were diagnosed with breast cancer last year and shortly after, Stark learned his mother would also battle this disease. Martina will assist these great athletes to generate awareness for cancer research by participating in a fundraising tennis exhibition at the Schick Extreme III Tennis Challenge. Martina, who has evolved from tennis champion to champion of great causes, has worked closely with Subaru of America, Inc. in support of philanthropic causes since 1995. Subaru of America, Inc. is the Founding Sponsor of the Rainbow Endowment, a non-profit organization created by Martina Navratilova, that has already donated over $1 million to causes deemed important by the lesbian and gay community, including HIV/AIDS and breast cancer research as well as cultural and civil rights causes.
