Granted, it's not practical in winter because it has a rear wheel drive and to get any amount of traction in the snow, you have to load the trunk. To be frank, it's not practical at all, because it's a two-seater and the trunk space is seriously limited. On the other hand, if you are able to live with a choice which is more emotional than rational, and looking for the perfect three seasons automobile, then it's difficult to find anything better for the price.
Few cars provide as much driving pleasure than the Miata. The four-cylinder, 1.8 litre engine delivers just enough power (140 horsepower), while the close-ratio transmission sweetens up the driving experience. The car handles itself beautifully on the road, the steering is precise and the brakes responsive. With qualities such as these, you find yourself cruising with a permanent smiling on your face!
