Mobile phone, laptop, filing system — there's even room for a small printer. A unique safety concept has been developed and implemented, ensuring that the BusinessCase will always return home safe and sound.
FRONT PASSENGER SEAT MOUNTING PROTECTS CASE IN EVENT OF CRASH
The BusinessCase is robust in design and built to withstand crashes, and can be secured to the front passenger seat by means of the standard seat belt and an additional retaining belt. This means that in the event of sudden braking or an accident, the sensitive, valuable contents — and of course the driver — are well protected. Having passed appropriate crash tests, the new BusinessCase is being offered by Mercedes-Benz for the C, E, S, CLK and SLK-Classes.
THE BUSINESSCASE SPECIALLY DESIGNED TO MEET TARGET GROUP REQUIREMENTS
Many Mercedes-Benz customers who use their car for business purposes spend a great deal of time at the wheel. The BusinessCase has been designed with this target group in mind. Maximum functionality, safety and comfort were the benchmarks adopted during development. The case is made of 0.8 mm thick aluminium and weighs only 5.8 kg. From the outside it is not possible to tell just what's in the BusinessCase, as all the functional details are concealed beneath the case's tough, gleaming exterior. Special seals protect the case against water splashes, so that no harm can come to the delicate contents even in the event of a downpour.
