3- 2019 Volkswagen Jetta GLI

The only reason the new VW Jetta GLI sedan doesn’t top our ranking is because the two models ahead of it are actually fully new. As it is it ranks third, for its many qualities. Like the previous GLI generations, the engine is more powerful, the presentation is sportier and the level of equipment is higher than what you get in the regular Jetta. Notable features are the 228-hp engine and the sport independent rear suspension.
