6. Nissan Qashqai
Car manufacturers currently seem to be locked in some sort of arms race to see who can own the fullest and most diversified lineup of models on the market. Nissan has added to its roster of SUVs with the Qashqai, slotted to fit in neatly between the Juke and the Rogue. We should mention that the model will go under the name Rogue Sport in the United States, the company having apparently decided that American consumers may not appreciate having to navigate the strange pronunciation of its original moniker. In any event, the vehicle itself is basically a shorter and lighter version of the Rogue, and features a 2.0L, 4-cylinder engine. By the way, the name Qashqai refers to a tribe in southwestern Iran.
