7. Ford F-150
The Dearborn-based manufacturer has not been complacent regarding its top-selling pickup truck. This new edition is in reality a mid-generation retool, but the cosmetic changes are quite substantial, most strikingly with the new front grille inspired by the one featured on the new 2017 Super Duty. In addition to the altered exterior and re-tweaked cabin, the biggest change involves the inclusion of a 3.0L V6 diesel engine. As its main competitor RAM is not offering anything similar in 2017, this should help boost the F-150’s popularity even higher. Other technological advances in the new 2017 include an available 10-speed automatic transmission – a first for this segment.
