This is almost a veteran among the new breed of all-electric pickups promised by various companies, having been rolled out with a splash in Los Angeles back in the fall of 2018. Now, the first actual Rivian pickup trucks are expected to arrive in June 2021. Prices have recently been confirmed for the U.S., where the truck will command between $67,500 and $75,000 USD.

We’re obviously sailing in uncharted waters with this completely new product, but if you go by what Rivian is promising, the R1T sure sounds intriguing. From having admired a version up close at that 2018 Los Angeles Auto Show, we can say the quality seems to be there, but even that remains to be confirmed.

There will be variants with different levels of range, while and in terms of capabilities, the 754 hp Rivian is promising have certainly set expectations soaring.
