When a pickup is out of the question

5. Nissan Armada/Infiniti QX80

Nissan completely revised its Armada for 2017. Previously set on a chassis similar to that of the Titan pickup (which has also just been revamped), it’s now based on the Patrol, a full-size Japanese SUV that has never been sold in North America. It’s worth noting that Nissan is using a formula previously applied to the more luxurious QX80. This means that, esthetic differences aside, the new Armada and the QX80 are virtually twins. The only available engine is a V8 gasoline engine able to produce 390 HP (400 HP for the QX80), while for both models maximum towing capacity comes in at 8,500 lbs.
