This pair of GM midsize pickups constitutes the only diesel option to be found in the segment. The 2.8L 4-cylinder turbodiesel is the engine of choice for those who need/want to take on the worst off-road conditions - especially when it’s bolted into the ZR2 edition of the Colorado. It’s just a shame it’s so hard on the pocketbook!
