5- Nissan Titan: In with the new
Japanese manufacturer Nissan waited a few years before renewing its range of Titan large pickups. The wait, we’re glad to say, was worth it. Relaunched in 2016, the Titan lineup, built entirely in the United States, features a completely redesigned look.
The base model (in the 1500 category) is available in various versions, but the only motor offered is the 5.6L V8 gasoline engine – itself also revamped. Nissan is promising a V6 engine option in the near-future. The big surprise is the addition of a more rugged XD with either the retooled V8 gasoline engine or a new V8 Cummins turbo diesel. This XD has capabilities that place it somewhere between the 1500 and 2500 lines of its competitors.
