The Outlander was recently completely redesigned, bringing an altogether more aggressive exterior that remains one of the most unique in the segment. Inside, it’s more luxurious and well-appointed than ever, with top trims getting diamond stitching on their leather seats and there’s also a new infotainment system.
That’s all grand, but the real story is the fact that it now gets an estimated 61 km of EV range from its 248 hp, 332 lb-ft powertrain. That gives it one of the longest ranges on this list, and also gets DC fast charging capability that can return 80 percent of charge in about 40 minutes.
