General Motors has a habit of launching a competent product, then leaving it for dead while the competition gets better and better. After six years of battling the likes of the Honda Civic, the Mazda3 and the Toyota Corolla with virtually no changes, we won’t miss the Cobalt and G5’s cheap rental-car interior and lack of refinement. The new Cruze is much, much better.
