Lexus SC
The SC 430 and its power-folding hard top enjoyed a nine-year production run, and is finally being retired after the 2010 model year. Lexus’ high-lux convertible was an interesting proposition, but never posed a serious threat to Mercedes-Benz’s SLK and SL roadsters, and its high price didn’t help either. The demise of the SC also marks another milestone: it was the last car on sale in Canada with a standard-equipment tape deck.
