Best three-row SUV: Hyundai Palisade/Kia Telluride
The arrival of the Korean tandem Hyundai Palisade/Kia Telluride a couple of years back rocked this category, and obviously woke some folks up. As in, rival models have been revamping. Four-wheel drive is increasingly a standard feature and the equipment is more comprehensive than ever, even on base models. And still, the Palisade and its close cousin the Telluride are simply unbeatable in terms of what they deliver for the price.
There’s a lot to like here. Both SUVs come with a V6 engine, an excellent automatic transmission and several features that rival or even surpass even some luxury SUVs sold for several thousand dollars more.
Honorable mention goes to the Volkswagen Atlas, which comes with 4Motion all-wheel drive in 2022, plus added equipment and a mid-cycle redesign.
