The Kia Niro is a unique entry in the subcompact SUV segment, as it's available exclusively with electrified powertrains: hybrid, plug-in hybrid (PHEV) and all-electric (Niro EV).
Given that and given its size, the Niro offers excellent fuel economy. The interior is acceptably spacious, though those who find it cramped can cross the Kia showroom floor and check out the Seltos – more on that in a second. It also comes with a well-fed list of standard features.
