The model with the longest life span in Jaguar’s active lineup is the XJ. However, the British grand lady is conspicuous by her absence in 2020. And that’s because the next XJ is going to go electric. In fact, prototypes are already on the road in various spots around the world.
Its position in the brand's range will force the model’s engineers to redouble their efforts to at least match the capabilities of the other large electric sedans that are already on the market or in the making – namely, the Tesla Model S and the Porsche Taycan.
