It was expected, and so it will come to pass: Cadillac is recycling the Blackwing name following the cancellation of the twin-turbo Blackwing V8, which was only offered in the CT6 sedan in very limited quantities. This time, it's the turn of the CT4 and CT5 sedans to receive a serious injection of adrenaline.

In addition to the usual upgrades, both sedans get a twin-turbocharged 3.6L V6 that delivers 472 hp and 445 lb-ft of torque, and a supercharged 6.2L V8 generating 668 hp and 659 lb-ft of torque. Both monster sedans are also available with a 6-speed manual transmission, with a 10-speed automatic unit the available option.
