Playseat Gaming Chair
Remember that “gaming rig” we talked about? Well, it would look something like this: the Playseat Evolution FIA gaming chair. With video games becoming more and more realistic (to the point where they are being used to train pro drivers all the way up to the F1 level), it takes a special piece of furniture to drive the feeling of being in an actual race car all the way home. In addition to the seat, you get a mount for your wheel and pedal peripheral, and often a mount for your display as well.
It’s like having a cabinet-style arcade game right in your office – just much, much better.
Fanatec Racing Peripherals
The seat is one thing, but you need a wheel and pedals to complete the look. German company Fanatec offers a variety of racing wheels and pedals compatible with Xbox, Playstation and PC gaming platforms. The coolest part? The rims on the wheel bases are interchangeable. Playing F12020? There’s a rim style for that. How about a classic Ferrari in Forza Horizon 4? Yep, they’ve got that covered, too. A BMW M6 GT3 in Gran Turismo Sport? You bet. A John Deere CP 690 in Farming Simulator 19? Rumour has it they’re working on it…
