The Porsche 944 Turbo is in my imaginary garage for the same reasons as the Mazda RX-7 FC. The Porsche coupe is still relatively affordable and the power of its turbocharged 4-cylinder engine (217 hp at first... then 247 later) is more than enough. Moreover, like the RX-7, the weight distribution is perfect on board this 2+2 coupe, and the car is blessed with timeless lines.
You'll have to be quick to put one in your garage, as beautiful examples are already reaching the $25,000 mark. It might not be so affordable soon.
