Best van: Chrysler Pacifica
Maybe you thought the minivan category didn’t even exist anymore? It may have ceded a ton of ground to SUVs, but those hardy minivans that remain are quality products engaged in a ferocious battle for supremacy in the category.
Since its introduction, the Pacifica has collected more than its share of awards, helped along by the fact that it comes in a hybrid version (check out our summer holiday road test of that fuel-economical minivan). But we shouldn’t overlook the high overall quality of the interior, and even the reassuring drive it delivers. A nice surprise.
