Best compact SUV: Mazda CX-5
The Mazda CX-5 is a common presence when awards are being handed out, and with the improvements it’s received this year its place on this best-of list was practically a given. Most notably, a new 2.5L 4-cylinder turbo engine is now part of the product offering; it’s available on the GT version and is the engine of choice for the Signature variant that’s making its debut appearance this year. This version is pretty luxurious and equips the CX-5 to go up against high-end products from rival manufacturers. And it delivers as impressive a driving experience as ever.
