BMW has always defined its products in terms of driving pleasure. But with electronics taking up more and more space today, it's hard to find the same pleasure as in the past.

There are exceptions, however, and the new 2-Series Coupe, which I recently tested, is one of them. This car is sublime and offers everything that the driving thrill-seeker is looking for. Its twin-turbocharged 3.0L 6-cylinder engine, which now offers 382 hp, turns it into a rocket. Its steering, balance and powerful braking allow us to push it to our limits, because the car doesn't seem to have any.

The new 2 Series arrives at dealers in the spring. It’s definitely worth a try if you're in the market for a new model that will awaken your sense of exhilaration at the wheel.
