1950 Cadillac
This impressive Cadillac 61 Series coupe from 1950 is an exact replica of the car that lined up to start the 1950 24 Hours of Le Mans, legendary American sportsman Briggs S. Cunningham at the wheel. Also on the starting line was a modified variant, just as aerodynamically suspect, that was known as “Le Monstre”. The version seen here, dubbed the “Petit Pataud”, managed a 10th-place finish at Le Mans, one spot ahead of… le Monstre!

Corvettes
No flyover of General Motors’ automotive history would be complete without a stop at the Corvette. Seen here in rare black colour is the C1 version, created in 1951. The other Corvettes that accompany it include the C2, C3 and C4 editions. Take note, the real-deal Corvette museum is located close to the factory that produces the model in Bowling Green, Kentucky.
