This is obviously the most rugged plug-in hybrid SUV on this list. And yet, even in the switch to hybrid technology, the Jeep Wrangler 4xe loses absolutely nothing of its original formula, that of the tough and trusty all-purpose utility model. However, in this form, Jeep's iconic vehicle can run in electric mode for a very appreciable 40 km, even away from the paved road.
