Three-Row SUVs – Best Braking: Mazda CX-9

Mazda is the little engine that could among the major automakers; it does very well with the financial resources it has. Part of the reason for that is that the designs of its most recent creations have found an appreciative - and sizable - audience. And so, while this current CX-9 dates back to 2017, Mazda's biggest SUV hasn't aged much. The driving pleasure offered by the CX-9 shouldn't be underestimated as a selling point either.

What Parents liked:

- Brake pedal adjusts (soft at slow speed and firm at higher speed).
- Surprising power from the 4-cylinder engine.
- Upscale interior accents and elements.
- Rain-sensitive windshield wipers.
