We end our overview of the 2020 Toronto show on a futuristic note with a look at Infiniti's QS Inspiration, a concept that represents a first look at Nissan/Infiniti’s view of the future of electrified models. Visually, the sport sedan straddles the line between tall-standing car and low-slung SUV - it all depends on your point of view. But from wherever you stand, it’s got styling all its own. The absence of an internal combustion engine is a big factor in making it easier for the concept’s designers to play with proportions.

Inside, the cabin combines quality workmanship and aesthetics with a separation into two distinct spaces: the driver's side, uncluttered and designed to optimize easy driving, and a more relaxed atmosphere on the passenger side, enhancing the generous interior space.

The QS represents a generation of sedans from Infiniti that’s not too far away, if you read between the lines of the brand's managers are saying. That said, that generation won’t be among us next year; more realistically it it’s a few years away.
