XM Satellite radio has just announced that the 2009 Toyota Corolla and Matrix will be the first Toyota vehicles to offer XM as a factory installed feature. Standard on all models with the high-end JBL premium audio system, XM NavTraffic will also be installed to models fitted with navigation. XM NavTraffic monitors local traffic conditions and can re-route drivers around potential traffic-related slowdowns.

"The combination of XM Radio and XM NavTraffic will deliver an outstanding entertainment and driver information package for Corolla and Matrix buyers."
