"If Scion becomes a volume make" added Press, "it isn't Scion any more. We have to make sure that Scion products change often, that they're on the cutting edge, and affordable."
To reiterate, Scion isn't expected to ever enter the Canadian market, which is only a tenth the size of the U.S., as Toyota Canada believes that the expense needed to advertise a new brand wouldn't necessarily be as cost effective as continuing to develop youth-oriented Toyota models such as the Toyota Echo Hatchback. Just the same, we're missing out on some pretty cool merchandise.
