Nissan is presenting the all-new Juke-R, a cross between its funky little crossover and the big, bruising GT-R.
Powered by the 3.8-litre, twin-turbo V6 engine and 6-speed gearbox from the brand's flagship supercar, the Juke-R is actually a street-legal model.
Handling is enhanced by massive 20-inch wheels wrapped in high-performance tires as well as a modified version of the GT-R's all-wheel drive system.
The flared wheel arches, revised bumpers and unique split rear wing clearly show that this is no ordinary crossover but rather a pavement-searing monster.
The interior also merges crossover and supercar. The Juke’s dashboard has been transformed to accommodate the gauges, dials and 7-inch customizable LCD display from the GT-R. However, its motorcycle-inspired centre console remains. Twin race seats with five-point harnesses sit inside a visible roll cage to complete the package.
Don't get your hopes too high, though. The Juke-R is nothing more than a one-off concept, at least for now. Development is still underway and real-world testing will begin in November.
