For the first time in its history, the World Touring Car Championship will travel to United States in 2012, with two rounds presented at the Infineon Raceway.
After the WTCC promoters first considered a move to Florida, the series will finally make its debut in California at the Infineon Raceway at Sonoma.
The WTCC rounds will be presented with the US Touring Car championship, which includes seven rounds exclusively held in California (Infineon Raceway, Thunderhill Raceway and Buttowillow Raceway).
The US round is planned on September, but the date is still to be confirmed.
