Frenchman Yvan Muller completed his weekend sweep from top of the practice chart to pole position to double win in Donington Park's opening WTCC races.
If race one was somewhat easy for Muller who only had to retain late assaults from teammate Huff to win, race two was another story.
Starting from 10th, Muller took advantage of the 'usual' reverse-grid chaos to claim the lead from Gabriele Tarquini on lap 5.
Muller's Chevrolet teammate Rob Huff recovered from a contact with Muller to finish in second, but the incident is under investigation by the stewards. Independant BMW driver Franz Engstler finished in third.
As for Tarquini, he was involved in an accident with teammates Michel Nykajaer and Tiago Monteiro early in the race and later with Chevrolet's Alain Menu and BMW's Javier Villa. The latest incident is also under investigation.
Polesitter Tom Coronel finished in fourth ahead of Menu who completed the podium despite the incident with Tarquini who wined up in seventh.
Alain Menu had completed the first podium of the weekend ahead of Tom Coronel and Gabriele Tarquini in fifth.
