Hypothesis: One Fantastic Sedan

It's not everyday that a sedan wows me. Sure, they get me from place to place, and the seats are usually comfortable while the stereo system is decent, but it almost always requires that extra something to make me say "hey, this sedan is really neat." Well, I've come up with the perfect equation for the "wowing" sedan:

(Q x S)/P + (STS - BR)² X [F - B + MT] = ∞ Good Times

After all is said and done, the 2004 Nissan Sentra SE-R Spec V equates to good times. (Photo: Alexandra Straub, Canadian Auto Press)

Where Q= Quality, S= Styling, P=Price, STS= Sport Tuned Suspension, B= Bumpy Ride (on the road), F= Features, B= Brakes, and MT= Manual Transmission.

Ok, I am only joking. My atmospheric sciences course at university requires me to make up and use similar mathematical/scientific equations every week, so I guess the formulas are slowly seeping into my brain. Heck, maybe school does have a practical purpose after all! Who would have thought? But now back to the important stuff, sedans.

Everyone develops their own formula of pluses and minuses to equal what makes a great sedan, and for me the Sentra SE-R Spec V is the answer. (Photo: Alexandra Straub, Canadian Auto Press)

If only calculating the coolness of a car was as easy as configuring a mathematical formula. I suppose in a sense it is. Everyone develops their own formula of pluses and minuses to equal what makes a great sedan, only not necessarily as quantifiable as a scientific equation. However, in my opinion, the answer* to my mathematical brainteaser is the 2004 Nissan Sentra SE-R Spec V (*results may vary).

I'm having too much fun with the science/math theme, so I think I will implement the format of the science experiment and apply it to this review.

Experimental procedure: Drive around town and winding highways in an attempt to experience fun.
