# 7 A double air intake

If you take a look under the hood – you might need the help of a stepladder to do so - you'll notice that the hood air intake is functional and that it delivers oxygen to the engine through this double goggle-shaped inlet. This, of course, has the function of filling the big V8 with clean, fresh air, but there's also the front grille that carries air to the lower part of the air intake housing, which at the same time ensures that debris from the ambient air is removed. A great idea to keep the precious engine in shape!

# 8 The revised suspension

A pickup like the Ram 1500 TRX would simply not be possible without a suspension revised top to bottom. To absorb the aerodynamic sway the TRX is capable of, OEM Bilstein developed these 2.6-inch Black Hawk e2 adaptive aluminum shock absorbers. Valves continuously adjust the damping level to withstand almost any kind of abuse! But there's more to the suspension system, as SRT engineers have switched from conventional components to lighter, stronger components.
