Best Subcompact Luxury SUV: 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLA

The runt of the Mercedes SUV litter hangs in there with its bigger siblings in terms of luxury and performance. And that’s good news for consumers who might be on somewhat of a budget, as the GLA is relatively affordable, for a Silver Star product anyways. There are other small luxury SUVs of note on the market, but the GLA takes the KBB title, for a second year running.

What KBB liked:

- Driveability
- Relatively affordable
- Copious amounts of tech and safety features
- Built to excel in the city, including when you need to park
- And yet, quite comfortable on the highway
- A product that feels mature, with no real flaws
- Handsome exterior design
