The big Expedition received some substantial updates for 2022, and it was evidently enough for KBB to give it top honours in the Full-Size SUV category. Not that it was a slouch before – KBB has given it the title for five years running now.

- Towing capacity (9,000 lb, or 4,082 kg)
- Strong off-road capability
- Good value, even at the prices demanded
- Comfortable ride
- Refreshed styling
- Over-the-air updates will be possible
