CS Model Range & Production History:
- Sept 1968 2800CS introduced
- Mar 1971 3.0CS replaces 2800CS, bigger 180-hp engine and 4-wheel vented disc brakes.
- May 1971 3.0CSL introduced 3.0 carb engine, alloy panels, plexiglass windows, stiffer suspension and sports seats.
- Sept 1971 3.0CSi announced with Bosch fuel injection, 200-hp and longer final drive.
- Aug 1972 3003cc 3.0CSL replaces 2985cc 3.0CSL, engine has slightly larger bore and fuel injection.
- Aug 1973 3153cc CSL introduced (Batmobile).
- May 1974 CS and CSi get Alpina wheels, softer suspension settings and different seat trim.
- June 1974 2.5CS introduced.
- Dec 1975 CS Coupe production ends.
