Its interior is quite spectacular really. Ford dubs the technically sophisticated looking compartment 'warm steel', fitting considering its chrome and brushed aluminum-like finishes. 'Carbon mesh' accents go a long way to enhance the truck's sporting nature too while optional leather looks best. Its sedan-like flow-through center console is also a first for the pickup truck segment.

The top-tier Lariat is a Lincoln Navigator with a pickup bed - maybe that wasn't the best analogy as Ford-Lincoln execs might still be a bit sore from the poor selling, now cancelled Blackwood of the same description - only available in the U.S. Of course, the F-150 Lariat will foster the exact opposite consumer reaction due to its opulent luxury and undeniable functionality combination. Perfect for trailer towers going south for the winter the Lariat boasts optional heated leather captains chairs up front separated by a flow-through center console. Standard equipment replaces the buckets with a 40/20/40 leather bench seat. A woodgrain center stack is surrounded by attractive metallic surfaces while chrome-trimmed, cream-faced gauges separate this model from its workhorse roots.
