Front and rear bumpers, as well as the front A-pillars have been given a matte-black plastic treatment to protect the body against scuffmarks, while the lower intake is surrounded in brushed metal trim.

A raised ride height and high-profile tires on conventionally-sized alloy wheels allows the Yeti to traverse over unpaved or ill-maintained back roads with ease. The exterior treatment is a bit of a disguise, as the Yeti is a front-wheel drive vehicle and hardly capable of traversing off-road mountain goat paths. Rather, Skoda views its concept as a vehicle designed to take its occupants to places where they can explore the terrain themselves, on foot.

shapes and curves of the Roomster are much more angular and less radical in this rendition. The Yeti sports a wraparound windshield, inward-tapered side windows with hidden rear door handles, and reshaped grille and headlamps. A pair of large, round spot-lamps have moved upwards from the fascia to above the bumper, to provide greater illumination and better protection from accidental bumps and scuffs. Skoda claims that the Yeti was styled in a friendly, non-aggressive manner, quite the opposite of the abominable snowman it was named after!
