GL or GLS: which one to choose?
Hyundai hurdled prognostics by offering a well-equipped base version at a competitive price. The 5-passenger GL trim rely on the 2.7L V6. If you want a better-equipped model, we have no choice but to opt for the GL Premium; the engine is swapped in favour of the 3.3L with an automatic gearbox. You can choose all-wheel drive with the GL Premium as well as optional heated leather seats. For a sunroof and the climate control system, you have to choose the uplevel GLS trim, which can also be ordered with leather.
Good bang for the buck
If we consider the high level of standard equipment, the electronic driving assistance systems and the 5-year warranty, we find ourselves with a very interesting vehicle, and a very competitive one at that. Its interior is very spacious for a family and small kids. It's comfortable, and its handling is sure-footed. Our first impression is a good one. The Santa Fe is nice to look at, inside and out. Take the time to perform a full test drive to get a better idea. Don't just take around the block. Examine it from top to bottom alone, and then with the kids, to evaluate the room inside. That's what we'll soon do with the Santa Fe during our regular road tests.
