Competition
The Mazda 6 Sport Wagon GT-V6 with the automatic costs $35,195 (add another $2,600 for the navigation). Here's a breakdown of the competition:

Dodge Magnum SXT with options, $36,470;
Saab 9-3 2.0T SportCombi with automatic and options, $41,085;
Subaru Legacy 2.5i Limited, $36,895;
Volkswagen Passat 2.0T with automatic and options, $39,275.

There aren't many, but it's easy to see that the price of the 6 is pretty competitive.

The Mazda6 Sport Wagon is one of the rare wagons available on the market.

Conclusion

We'll probably see a brand-new 6 within the next year, but in the meantime, the current model has everything to please. It's a nice wagon that offers driving pleasure and a practicality that makes it more interesting than the sedan, at least for people like me that has a family.

I like the V6 in this car, but I hope the next generation of the 6SW will be offered with the 4-cylinder engine so more people could afford it.
