| The Torrent makes a fine daily driver. |
After a week spent in the Pontiac Torrent Sport, I had actually become quite attached to the vehicle. In fact, I felt rather at home in it, and would be more than happy to drive one as my everyday vehicle. It is of decent size, it offers above-average performance, all-wheel drive capabilities, and was well-suited to my everyday needs. For the money ($32,475 base, $36,580 as tested), and when you compare it to other vehicles in its class, I'd say that GM is sitting quite nicely in the market with this vehicle. Obviously, there are one or two things which I would perhaps like to change about it, but then again, I don't believe that anyone has come up with the "perfect vehicle" quite yet.
