Three teaser videos just released give an early first look at the sixth-generation M5, set to be officially unveiled on October 21-22 during the BMW M Festival taking place at the Kyalami circuit in South Africa. Early indications are the 2018 BMW M5 will feature a 4.4L V8 twin-turbo engine, the most advanced of its type ever designed and which will generate nearly 600 hp, and be equipped with BMW’s xDrive system. This power will allow it for example to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in just 3.4 seconds.
BMW plans to launch the new 2018 BMW M5 commercially in February 2018.
