The Audi A4 is getting an update for 2019 and the public has just got it's first look at it.
If this surprises you, we understand. This generation's model has only been around these parts for two years, arriving near the end of 2016. However, it was already on European roads at the beginning of 2015.
Therefore, the A4 was ready for an update.
The changes are mostly related to a revised grille, front & rear fascias and it will receive a new design around the bumper.
In the rear, exhaust tips have been swapped for a rectangular shape, and if you look closely, you'll notice that the inside of the taillights have been redesigned.
Audi says that the available S Line package will be sportier than before. A Competition package can even be added to it. The latter will add 19-inch wheels, red brake calipers and an exclusive blue paint finish to the package.
In the cabin, this package builds on the black theme of the S Line package, adding carbon inlays, a three-spoke multifunction steering wheel and partially leather-covered seats. Customers can also select the sport seats of the S4.
Mechanically, no new updates have been announced.
For now, news of the updated model is intended for the European market, but, according to our sources, the North American versions will receive the same changes.
