2020 Volkswagen Passat
It’s attractive, and it’s been tweaked and reimagined. And its newish look should help it attract new customers. But don’t come at the new VW Passat with the expectations of getting new mechanics. VW has retained the existing 2.0L engine. Inside, the dashboard has been completely revised and the materials have been upgraded. There’s also a bunch more safety features now included as standard equipment in this car that is still assembled at the company’s plant in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Volkswagen has committed to invest $800 million more in the facility, by the way.
