The third generation of the Porsche Cayenne is about to get its official reveal – on August 29, to be exact. The enormously successful model has sold over 760,000 units since 2002, and for its latest iteration the automaker put it through a series of grueling tests, in a variety of extreme conditions in different spots on the globe, including Canada in the harshest winter conditions possible. The tests ensure that the SUV meets the highest quality requirements set by Porsche. In conditions ranging from minus 45 degrees to plus 50 degrees Celsius, the prototypes and pre-series versions of the model completed a total of around 4.4 million test kilometres.
