The Volvo XC40 Recharge (along with its adjunct the C40 Recharge) is one of the "affordable" luxury options in the electric niche, but we certainly shouldn't forget that for the past few years, the automaker has offered several plug-in hybrid variants.
In fact, for 2022, the plug-in hybrid lineup includes five models: S60, S90, V60, XC60 and XC90, or almost all of its vehicles. What’s more, the possible range in electric mode has greatly improved for each of those electrified models.
Possible range (in electric mode): 58 to 64 km.
