Pontiac, MI — Dodge is marking the 60th anniversary of the Charger by dipping into the past and bringing back the Super Bee nameplate. The new 2027 Dodge Charger Super Bee Launch Edition simultaneously becomes the most powerful Sixpack-engined version in the lineup with output bumped to 600 hp.

This limited-production edition uses the 3.0L twin-turbo inline-6 engine taken from the Charger Scat Pack, but with several mechanical modifications. Dodge also announces a 0 to 97 km/h acceleration time of 3.6 seconds and a quarter-mile completed in 11.8 seconds.
The Super Bee thus makes its return in a Charger that differs from those that have borne the nameplate in the past. Launched with the Dodge Coronet in 1968, the Super Bee name joined the Charger family in 1971 before resurfacing on a few occasions, notably with the Charger Super Bee Last Call in 2023.

To raise output from 550 hp in the Charger Scat Pack to 600 hp in the Super Bee, Dodge didn't just modify the engine's electronic programming.
The high-output Sixpack 6-cylinder notably receives two 56-mm Garrett turbochargers. Boost pressure exceeds 30 psi, and Dodge claims the engine can deliver its peak torque earlier than in the Scat Pack. Torque, however, remains rated at 531 lb-ft.
According to the automaker, the new turbochargers increase airflow by 7.5 percent. The intake, charge air cooling system and several mechanical components have also been revised.
Cooling plays a major role in the updates. Dodge explained that auxiliary radiators have been integrated into the front. The new front fascia reportedly increases airflow to the cooling components by 30 percent.
Brembo brakes and 305-mm tires
The 2027 Charger Super Bee also gets several chassis modifications. 16-inch Brembo ventilated discs are fitted at all four corners.
The 20-inch forged wheels are wrapped in Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercar 3 tires measuring 305/35ZR20 at all four corners.
A new adaptive suspension featuring dual-valve dampers is also part of the package.
Like other Sixpack Chargers, the Super Bee retains all-wheel drive, but the driver can select a rear-wheel-drive mode that sends 100 percent of available torque to the rear wheels. A dedicated button for this feature is integrated directly into the steering wheel.
Track and Drag modes also make their appearance. The latter specifically adjusts the dampers to optimize weight transfer during hard launches.
Design of the 2027 Dodge Charger Super Bee
Visually, the Super Bee sets itself apart with a model-specific front fascia, a larger front splitter, and a new rear spoiler. The bee emblem has also been redesigned, drawing inspiration this time around from the shape of a turbocharger.
The Launch Edition will be offered exclusively in three colours: Sucker Punch, a striking yellow-green; Shady, a more subtle grey; and Diamond Black.

Inside, Dodge installs sport seats with the Super Bee logo embroidered on the headrests. Sour Lemon stitching and a Super Bee plaque on the dashboard complete the cabin's look.
2027 Dodge Charger Super Bee – Availability and pricing in Canada
The 2027 Dodge Charger Super Bee Launch Edition will be assembled in Windsor, Ontario. Dodge hasn’t yet disclosed pricing, dealership arrival dates, or the exact number of units that will be produced.
Two 750-hp Chargers built for drift
Alongside the presentation of the Super Bee, Dodge partnered with Hemmings and Suppy’s Garage to transform two Charger Scat Packs into 750-HP drift cars.
Named the Charger Boost Coupe and Charger RPM (Rapid People Mover), these two cars were developed in just 60 days. Based on production Charger Scat Packs, they have been extensively modified for competition.
Interestingly, these are the first Sixpack Chargers equipped with a manual transmission. The original all-wheel-drive system was removed in favor of a rear-wheel-drive setup, while a competition manual gearbox, a quick-change differential, and drift-specific suspension geometry were installed.
The two cars use different solutions to achieve roughly 750 hp: the Boost Coupe receives a single high-capacity Turbosmart turbocharger, while the RPM retains a heavily modified twin-turbo configuration. They made their public debuts during the Roadkill Nights Powered by Dodge event.
