Top 10: Over the Top Luxury Features
It’s a fact of life that many of us don’t understand: some people are stupid-rich and want to spend lots and lots of money. This concept turns the brains of us normal folks into mush. However, because of this type of car shopper, and my line of work, I’ve come to accumulate a list of over-the-top features that make the motoring masses scratch our scalps.
“When does it stop?!” my dad says (often) and typically while checking out a high-dollar tester-of-the-week with a feature or two that makes us common folk shake our heads. Mind you, with luxury flagship models serving as rolling showcases of the latest and greatest an automaker has to offer, these features sometimes, eventually, wind up trickling down into cars the masses can afford.
Here’s a closer look at some of the most over-the-top luxury features I’ve encountered over the past year.
