Aston Martin will host the world premiere of the new Vanquish Zagato concept at the Villa d’Este Concours d’Elegance in Italy this weekend, May 21-22. It’s the fifth car to emerge from a five-decade-long collaboration between the British luxury automaker and Zagato, dating back to the 1960 DB4 GT Zagato.
Developed and engineered at Aston Martin’s headquarters in Gaydon, England, this unique, super-racy Vanquish model sports a full carbon fibre body and the same “bladed” LED technology as the track-only Aston Martin Vulcan supercar. Under the hood is a naturally aspirated V12 engine rated at 592 horsepower.
While just a concept, the Aston Martin Vanquish Zagato could end up as an extremely limited edition of the brand’s flagship. We’ll keep an eye on it.
