A new pilot project by Audi of America will allow drivers in North Carolina to use fully equipped 2017 Audi A4 sedans as part of a shared fleet service. Users will have access to a customer service centre open 24 hours a day. A specially designed app will allow them to reserve their vehicle, and unlock it when taking possession.
The carmaker plans on implementing the shared fleet program nationwide sometime during 2017. Users’ feedback will be collected during the pilot project and taken into consideration in order to improve the service. It is not yet known if the service will cover the entire United States, or cross the border into Canada.
